iPod Touch App – Cube Runner Bonus Level Packs

March 6th, 2010 by Calvert Kennedy | 11 Comments | Filed in Apps, How Tos

If you’d like some extra levels for your Cube Runner iPod Touch game that we recently reviewed you’ve come to the right place!

It’s as simple as going to add new level pack. and typing in one of the URLs found at the bottom of this post.

I am not 100% sure these are working, so if they don’t, blame the forum I got them from – but please leave a comment letting us know whether they did or didn’t work for you! These were tested to work on cube runner one and not two, and it is the first version of cube runner, so it may be outdated.

Light Bike for iPod Touch – Review

January 15th, 2010 by Calvert Kennedy | No Comments | Filed in Apps

Hello, today we are doing a quick review of Light Bike for the iPod Touch.  The game is one of the most popular games on the iPod Touch aside from the Tap Tap revenge series.

You start out driving a sort of futuristic motorbike that trails a sort of laser line behind it. The point of the game is to try to confuse or trick other players to drive into your laser line and kill them, while also not driving into your laser or anyone elses laser, killing yourself. There are several strategies o the game including traping people in a box of lasers, zooming right in front of them, etc.

The controls are ridiculously simple and easy to learn, and quick to master, you simply tap on the side if the screen you wish to turn on. The online play if this game is truly where it shines. It’s the regular game, but your just playing people from around the world, bumping up the skill level.

If you decide to buy the game, if you pay for it then you can play via wifi and also playing with two players on one device.

I rate this app 4/5.

Rollercoaster Rush for iPod Touch review

December 25th, 2009 by Calvert Kennedy | No Comments | Filed in Apps

Rollercoaster rush is truly one of the greater games for the iTouch. It has several levels to keep you busy, and many achievements that you can obtain through the game-play.  It also has two versions: a themed christmas version, and a regular version.

The controls vary but are always simple. You either tap or tilt the iPod in the direction you want to go.  Although the graphics are somewhat cartoony, they do the job quite well and add appeal to the game.  This game is great for all ages and runs smoothly during gameplay, except it crashed once during the 3 hour period I tested it for.

The game takes about an hour to beat, and a ton of time to unlock all the acievments for.  This is a great game, and I recommend it for anybody who likes a bit of a challenge, and who also has an iPod touch.  It’s free!  How can you go wrong?
