Kernel Panic when mounting DMGs in OSX86

February 27th, 2009 by Connor McBrine-Ellis | Filed under How Tos, Offline, Tech.

The way to fix this is if you have 10.5.6, then download the seatbelt.kext from the 10.5.5 release then this will probably fix it!

I experienced this problem with iDeneb 1.4, and this easily fixed the problem.

Thanks to Pere from uphuck.ggrn.de forums for link to solution!

Hey man.. I hate to be THAT guy but… I’ve finally found an install that works.. But I keep getting a kernel panic… Can’t get past a grey screen that says to reboot.. I’m pretty noob at this so be gentle if you could.. Would the kext help me? And if so how do I install it?
